But
now our strength is gone. There is nothing at all to eat---nothing
but this manna day after day!"
Num 11:6
Daily
familiarity of what we do can lead to disgust and ungratefulness to
God, as in the case of the children of Israel, who became disgusted
with the sight and taste of the repetitive food given to them by
God; this disgust led to their ungratefulness for the heavenly gift
and they longed for a change.
To them there
was no new source of happiness, which can be devised; the same round
of petty pleasures, cares, business, study, wars, etc., being
repeated over and over again
They cried
”But
now our strength is gone…
Sometimes we feel the same, we feel
strength-less for whatever reason whether it is the familiarity or
repetitiveness of our assignment, we feel sapped and weary.
The truth in this reference above is not
only applicable to our physical body or temporal things, but also to
spiritual things, we feel
“Our Strength Is Gone” in our
walk with God, as well as in the Ministry. In view of this, VOE aim
to be a resource for strength through its invaluable articles. VOE
will be referencing some life experiences locked up in the spiritual
vaults of His children.
I hope His Voice of Experience (VOE)
will, encourage, bless, inform, guide and assist you, as you walk in
your God given path in Life Amen.
